Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Signal collects, what it is used for and what control you have over it.
Data we collect
To give you access to the platform, Signal records your email address and your usage preferences, such as language, the topics you follow and the types of alert you enable. We do not collect sensitive data.
How we use the data
The data is used solely to authenticate your access, personalise your briefings and send the alerts you chose. Emails are sent only to the addresses you provide and can be turned off at any time in Settings.
Daily brief subscription
If you subscribe to the daily brief on our website, we keep your email address, the language you chose, the date of your request and of your confirmation, and a record of the briefs sent to you. We use them only to send you the brief. You can leave the list at any time from the link in every email, and ask us to delete your data.
Information from public sources
To produce briefings, Signal processes information that is publicly available, including what public figures and decision-makers say and publish in their public role. It is used only to produce intelligence for our clients, on the basis of legitimate interest, and is not used to profile private individuals. Anyone who believes information about them has been processed may contact us to exercise their rights.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is kept while your account is active and deleted upon request.
Shared links
When someone opens a shared report link, Signal records the date, approximate location (city and country), device type and browser identifier (user-agent, up to 300 characters), where the visit came from, reading time and whether the PDF was downloaded, so that the link's author can control access. If a Signal session is signed in on that browser, the session's email is also recorded. To count distinct people, the page stores a random identifier in the browser (localStorage). The IP address is not stored: only a daily pseudonymised fingerprint (hash) is used. These records are kept for 90 days.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data at any time. To exercise these rights, or for any privacy question, contact us by email.
